Way Truth Life (Three)— The Direction of Life
As humans, we are prone to having sympathy and compassion for the weak.
The weak primarily include groups who are disadvantaged in some way, such as the elderly, young children, patients, the disabled, and even animals because they lack wisdom.
When we help these lives, we experience a sense of achievement. Therefore, in a way, we also need them.
Some people like pets because they are both pitiful and adorable.
In fact, pet lovers are mostly those with lower intelligence and self-esteem.
They have a karmic connection with their pets, so they like this kind of pets.
Primarily, it's about finding a sense of achievement in meeting the needs of their pets to balance their hidden sense of inferiority.
Of course, pets can also accompany them through the lonely years and provide spiritual sustenance to them.
Most humans prefer to socialize and make friends with individuals or other living beings who are attractive but have lower intelligence than themselves.
Being friends with these types of people makes them feel happier and more secure.
In general, the most beloved animal by humans is the dog, because dogs can wag their tails to beg for mercy, know how to please their owners, and are loyal and grateful to them.
Therefore, raising a son is more distressing, while raising a pet dog is more joyful.
Of course, everyone has some degree of inferiority.
Because highly intelligent beings can easily trigger feelings of inadequacy in us, and may pose a threat to our benefits and safety.
Thus, when interacting with highly intelligent beings, we tend to be cautious and vigilant.
Humans have always fantasized about highly intelligent aliens invading and enslaving us.
